1.Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and deposits are handled by C&L Legacy Loaders, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By reserving or renting a trailer through our website, operated via Wix.com, you agree to the terms below as well as our Rental Agreement and Terms & Conditions.

Our goal is to provide flexible and fair rental terms while maintaining availability and proper maintenance scheduling for all customers.

2. Reservations and Deposits

  • A deposit or payment authorization may be required at the time of booking to hold your rental.

  • This deposit is applied toward your rental charges once the trailer is picked up.

  • Deposits may be made through Wix Payments, Stripe, PayPal, or another approved payment processor integrated with our website.

3. Cancellations

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental start time will receive a full refund of any pre-paid rental fees or deposits.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before pickup may result in a one-day rental charge being withheld.

  • If you fail to appear (no-show) for your reservation without prior notice, your deposit or first-day rental fee will be non-refundable.

4. Early Returns

  • If you return a trailer earlier than your scheduled rental end date, no refunds or credits will be issued for unused rental days once the trailer has been picked up.

  • Exceptions may be made at our discretion in cases of verified emergency or unsafe weather conditions.

5. Extensions and Late Returns

  • Requests to extend a rental must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled return time and are subject to trailer availability.

  • Additional days will be charged at the current daily rate.

  • Late returns without prior notice may incur additional fees at the standard daily rate plus any applicable surcharges outlined in your Rental Agreement.

6. Refund Processing

  • Refunds are processed using the original payment method used for the reservation.

  • Refunds may take up to 7–10 business days to appear, depending on your payment provider’s processing time.

  • For cash or manual payments, refunds will be issued by check or electronic transfer.

7. Non-Refundable Charges

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Rental periods already in progress.

  • Damage, cleaning, towing, or administrative fees described in the Rental Agreement.

  • Loss of use, diminished value, or late return charges.

  • Optional equipment or accessories once issued and accepted at pickup.

8. Weather-Related Cancellations

  • If severe weather prevents safe towing or operation of the trailer, we may, at our discretion, reschedule your rental or issue a refund.

  • Customers are encouraged to contact us promptly in such situations for assistance.
